Eric Tamatey Lawer is a Development Geographer and a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, Legon, Accra. His research straddles the intersections between international development issues, natural resource governance, and indigenous knowledge systems. His current research focuses on natural resources governance, resource conflicts, energy transition, policy mobilities, environmental justice, indigenous knowledge systems, and the political ecology and economy of oceans, ports, and coasts. He raises fundamental questions about sustainability, equity, and the politics of knowledge in development discourse.
