Bunga Siagian Bunga Siagian is an artist, researcher, and curator. She completed her master's degree in Cultural Studies at Universitas Indonesia. She is particularly interested in the cinematic circulation of political and artistic struggles during the decolonization era in the 1950s and 1960s and leftist praxis in Indonesian film history. Her current project is the cinematic solidarity between Africa and Asia at the Afro-Asia Film Festival (1959–1964). Since 2017, she has been a co-founder of BKP, a study agency of land that situates its practices at the intersection of the arts, community, and colonial legacy.
