Hui-Yi Yang is a PhD student at the Centre for Privacy Studies, University of Copenhagen and Royal Danish Academy. Her research focuses on the architectural history of the Siraya Indigenous People’s House from Dutch colonisation(1624-1668) until the Qing dynasty(1683-1895). She studies the architectural and spatial design of the beds in Siraya Indigenous People’s house, especially the space used for sleep and death activities.
