Michael K. Peters

Shizuoka University, Japan

Michael Kentaro Peters is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Global Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation at Shizuoka University in Japan. He holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in the Netherlands. He has worked in sport television production at ESPN and as a Japanese – English interpreter in Major League Baseball for the New York Mets. He is also doing research on naturalized players in the B.League, a professional men’s basketball league in Japan.
