Taciana Almeida Garrido de Resende has a degree in History from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a master's degree in History from the same institution's Graduate Program. Her interests focus on studies of Global and Transnational History, Brazil's International Relations with African countries, and Third World politics during the Global Cold War. She carries out research and outreach projects, and translates academic texts focused on feminist discussions, with a special interest in disseminating the thought of Black feminists from the Global South. She is a professor at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais and is currently pursuing doctoral research on the Tricontinental Conference of Havana.
