Jermaine Sanwo-Olu holds a pivotal role as a leader within the Lagos State Diaspora Affairs (LASDA), where he leverages his expertise to strengthen connections between Lagosians at home and abroad. As the head of LASDA, Jermaine is dedicated to fostering meaningful engagement with Lagosians in the diaspora, bridging the gap between the state government and its global community. His vision emphasizes not only the celebration of Lagosians' achievements worldwide but also the creation of opportunities for them to contribute to Lagos’s socio-economic development. Jermaine also is a registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer and pays keen intrest km housing provisio for the Nigerian diaspora. He is also the founder of DiasporaNews.ng and DreamFoundation.ng
Under Jermaine’s leadership, LASDA has expanded its outreach initiatives, aiming to streamline the process of collaboration between the diaspora and Lagos-based enterprises, cultural organizations, and governmental agencies. Through events, forums, and digital platforms, he promotes a two-way dialogue that allows the diaspora to stay connected with developments back home while providing channels to invest in the state's growth.
Jermaine’s role also involves advocating for policies that benefit Lagosians abroad, ensuring they have access to relevant resources, and empowering them to make an impact.
